Douglass (Dubh-glas) Scottish meaning "Dark River"

Darkriver Consulting, LLC was founded by Kevin Douglass, a 20 year veteran of the IT industry. He founded the company out of a desire to deliver truly high quality IT services. After 20 years in the IT Industry, Kevin was frustrated with the turnstyle experience that most IT consulting firms were providing.   Kevin wanted to build a firm that was based on more than just sales and recruiting, he wanted to actually provide a full service IT Management approach to a handful of clients. He wanted to accomplish this by utilizing actual industry based management techniques and planning methodologies, not just selling billable hours. Darkriver Consulting currently services clients across the U.S. with concentrations in Washington D.C. and the San Francisco Bay Area.

Kevin has been providing IT consulting and IT Management services to Semiconductor, Manufacturing, Medical and Financial Services Firms in the Bay Area for 20 years.  Kevin holds degrees in Electronics, Information Systems and Business Management. His expertise lies with designing and managing high availability networks that have specific disaster recovery and data retention needs. Kevin also specializes in implementing enterprise wide applications such as ERP/MES/CRM/PSA solutions. His work experience includes companies like Hewlett Packard, Agilent Laboratories, Eastman Kodak and numerous Bay Area Consulting firms.  Additionally, Kevin has served on the Board of Directors for District 57 of Toastmasters International, served in the U.S. Army's 101st Airborne Division as well as an Ambassador for the Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce. Kevin happily resides in Pleasant Hill, California with his wife and three children.
